We are excited to share some changes to the weekend events, which include a Friday night social, Brother’s Only ‘Pig Dinner’ Luncheon, a Saturday Evening catered BBQ Dinner at the FIJI Lodge, and a family-friendly brunch at the Heilman Dining Center.

EVENT DETAILS:

Friday Night: Open Social at the Cellar,

Location: The Cellar, Ground Floor Tyler Haynes Commons, U of R (parking in lots behind the Gottwald Science Building or lot across from the Heilman Dining Center)

Time: 6PM-9PM, Attire: Casual, Cost: Pay for own food/drinks

All Brothers, Guests, and Family are invited to join us at the Cellar for a very casual kick-off to the weekend events. Seating is open and brothers can arrive anytime that fits their travel schedule. Pre-registration is not required but encouraged to estimate attendance.

Saturday Afternoon: 133rd Norris Pig Dinner

Location: Richmond Room, Jepson Alumni Center, U of R

Time: 11:30 AM-2:30 PM, Attire: Business (Jacket, Tie, Badge)

Cost: $40/person

We have changes events this year and the Pig Dinner is Brother’s Only. This will be a University of Richmond catered lunch. The program will start promptly at Noon and include a Welcome, remembrance of those Brothers lost in the past year, a panel of 3 speakers, updates from the HC and BCA, presentation of Chapter awards, introduction of the new Initiates, and ‘Bringing in the Pig’.

Saturday Afternoon: Wives/Significant Others Tour of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA)

Location: VMFA on Arthur Ashe Boulevard

Time: TBD, Attire: Casual Cost: $10 per person (pre-registration)

Any guests (local or out-of-town) are welcome to register for a pre-arranged group guided tour of the VMFA, a world-renowned art museum here in Richmond. On-site parking is available. The tour will provide a highlight of the exhibits. Guests can then choose a lunch location, including the on-site restaurant, AMUSE, located on the 3rd floor overlooking the outdoor gallery.

Saturday Evening: Catered BBQ Dinner

Location: Rho Chi FIJI Lodge

Time: 6 PM-9 PM, Attire: Business Casual

Cost: $60 per guest (Undergraduate dates: $40)

The Pig Dinner weekend festivities will continue with a dinner catered by Deep Run Roadhouse BBQ. Brothers and Dates/Guests are invited to the FIJI Lodge for food, drinks, and socializing. Old photo books, composites will be available to view. Come out to relive old memories and see updates to the lodge.

Sunday Morning: Brunch at the Heilman Dining Center,

Location: Westhampton Room, Heilman Dining Center, U of R

Time: 10 AM - Noon, Attire: Casual

Cost: Guests pay for own meal ticket, tons of made-to-order food options.

Brothers and family are invited to join together for an informal brunch at the dining center. No reservations needed, show up, purchase food and find a seat with other brothers. We will be seated in the Westhampton Room located down the dining hall after the food services.
